The first Europol meeting, introducted ESRs to the principles of NMR, DNP, and other hyperpolarisation techniques and applications. The sessions were presented by leading researchers in the field. Fellows also had the opportunaty to present their work to the network.
The meeting also had theorotical sessions on the techniques to be used in the project to give the fellows a better understanding of the techniques, and practical sessions to introduce the fellows to the spectrometers.

The second Europol meeting, including the project's mid-term review meeting, was held at the University of Birmingham. The first day of the meeting included presentated from the researchers at EPFL, Jan Hoevener (Freiburg), and Simon Duckett (York).
The final day of the meeting was the advance training course for the fellows, including talks of hyperpolarisation by dissolution DNP, and imaging tumour cells and their metabolism in vivo .

Date: 9th to 11th April 2018
The 3rd Europol meeting will be held at DTU in April, and will include presentations from the Fellows and the other researchers working on the project.
